Sand Dollar Motel - Atlantic Beach

The location was a highlight, being close to the

Beach, perfect for our couple's getaway. The room had some maintenance issues that detracted from our experience, like a noisy air conditioning unit and a door that was difficult to operate.

Really enjoyed the way our a double room with a kitchen was arranged. A microwave, coffee & tea makers and a refrigerator where provided if needed. The hotel's location was good and perfect very close to the beach...

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was pretty slow.

Great location, needs improvements

The hotel had potential, but our experience fell short. The entry door was tricky and amenities like the fridge and TV were lacking. The nearby beach was lovely and perfect for morning strolls.

Not worth the hassle

We stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, the place felt sooo dated. Room had 3 beds, but the AC was in one, leaving the other roasting. Oh, and there were roaches. Plus, they tried to charge us for a towel that they claimed had hair dye. Very basic amenities, no hot water one night. The location is close to the beach, tho.

The room seemed like a home away from home with its spacious layout and beautiful decor. It had a wonderful balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee while overlooking the ocean. The access to the beach was perfect, just a short walk away.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free wi-fi, tv, and cooking utensils. The staff even helped me with currency tips on my first visit. I'm definitely coming back next year!

The amenities are sparse. Expect a bare-bones room with a mini fridge and a microwaved coffee maker. The lack of a sturdy table meant working from the bed felt cramped, and the thin walls didn't do much to block out noise from adjacent rooms. The bathroom door had some issues, sticking a bit when closing. I had a good stay despite these minor inconveniences. Would consider returning for the beach access and friendly service.

The hotel was a good base for exploring Atlantic Beach. the property's staff was helpful and efficient at check-out. - the location of the property was unbeatable, near Morehead and Beaufort. - We were close to other attractions, shopping stores, and grocery stores.

The property here was amazing with incredibly friendly staff at check-out, plus I really enjoyed my stay, it's very central to the ocean.
